Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AdGen, an AI campaign-generation API and customer portal operated by Sikasio ("we", "us"), available at adgen-api.sikasio.com. By creating an account or using the API you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
AdGen turns a short campaign brief into marketing assets: ad copy and campaign plans, branded images, and short campaign videos with optional narration. Results are returned as JSON together with temporarily hosted asset URLs on our content-delivery domain. The service is provided over an HTTP API authenticated by API keys, with free and paid plans that differ in monthly credits, rate limits, and available options. Generation is powered by machine-learning models; outputs are probabilistic and may vary between requests for the same brief.
2. Your account and API keys
You must provide a valid email address and keep your password confidential. Your API key is a secret: you are responsible for all requests made with it, whether or not you authorized them. If you believe a key has been exposed, regenerate it from your dashboard immediately. You may not share, sell, or sublicense keys, or circumvent credits and rate limits (for example by creating multiple free accounts).
3. Acceptable use
- Do not request unlawful content, including content that infringes intellectual-property rights, depicts the abuse of minors, or is intended to defraud, defame, or harass.
- Do not generate advertising intended to deceive — for example photorealistic depictions of real people or brands presented as authentic endorsements, fabricated testimonials, or claims you know to be false.
- Do not submit brands, trademarks, logos, or product material you have no right to use, and do not advertise products or services that are unlawful where they are promoted.
- Do not attempt to probe, overload, or disrupt the service, or to access data belonging to other customers.
- Do not use the service to build a directly competing resale service without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
4. Briefs, generated assets, and rights
You retain responsibility for the briefs, brand names, and reference material you submit, and for how you publish the results — including any advertising-disclosure or platform rules that apply to your campaigns. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, we claim no ownership over the copy, images, or videos generated for you, and you may use them commercially.
Generated assets are stored as hosted URLs on our content-delivery domain and kept according to your plan — 7 days on Free, 30 days on Starter, and 90 days on Pro — after which they may be removed. Do not rely on hosted URLs as permanent storage: download anything you want to keep.
5. Plans, credits, billing, and refunds
Every plan carries a monthly credit allowance — Free 40, Starter 400, Pro 1200 — and each action costs credits (for example a campaign plan or an image costs 2, a campaign video 12 or 20 depending on the mode). Credits are charged when work succeeds; work that fails on our side is refunded automatically. While a video render is queued or running its cost is held against your allowance and released if the render fails. Allowances reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC) and unused credits do not roll over.
Paid plans are billed as subscriptions through our merchant of record, Polar (polar.sh), which handles payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes. You can cancel at any time; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled case by case — contact support@sikasio.com.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided without an uptime guarantee. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, models, plans, or the service itself, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or the accuracy, originality, or legal clearance of generated content. You are responsible for reviewing generated copy and assets before publishing them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for campaign performance, or for loss of assets hosted on temporary result URLs.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or abuse, with notice where practical.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sikasio is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
